Without Me

My last word, is I am not going to blog here anymore. But nonetheless, I have left you the ownership of this blog. You and the other half, can continue from where we have left off. 11 May 2008 marks Mothers' Day and because of that, greatest people in the World, all the mummies and mummy-to-be deserve all the nice and wonderful commemoration (I think...) in recognition to all the sacrifices they have made in our everyday life.

After a really long long time of club-less days, something different this time has happened. Shahul korkor has organised a gathering, dining, chilling out, and clubbing: a full fledged night activity for this very day. With the compliment help from Anson didi, the whole event went by very smoothly. Hurray people, good job!

And this time, Meow Meow enjoyed the whole night activities. Not to mention how badly Meow Meow missed all the people in The Family. The feeling is so nice, and homely not to mention. Meow Meow must find sometime to put up some interesting photos to amaze the World about this day. Splendid people, it's just splendid.

Anyway, had the roasted spring chicken in New York New York, which is so damn good tasting. After that a round of share and tell with Prof. Chris demonstrating ethical head and body massage. Meow Meow can promise you how fortunate it is to be massaged by Chris and it would be heavenly if it is everyday. ^^ Not to exaggerate anything okay~~

And drank Tequila Sunrise in Tantric followed by a Screwdriver in Play. Nicest feeling before getting on dance floor is to sip some liquor mix before grooving in some nice, beating music. The music is not at it's best form though, but considered it not too bad. Enough of blabbering away, listen to some and start grooving yoz...

Lucky... Not

Tough day to maintain a rainbow-ish day especially for Monday. Oh goosh, Meow Meow don't understand why it is forever and ever so hard to walk through for Monday even though it is like any other simple weekdays.

Anyway, something really bad happened today at Meow Meow's workplace and Meow Meow kind of "learned" how to be pissed off in work. Something like scarring of hand over a water dispenser could actually happened. Meow Meow never believed something as stupid as that could actually befallen on Meow Meow (and now Woow Woow call Meow Meow "Dodo bird") =/

The whole thing is just over a split second of me dispensing hot water into my water bottle and the wash cup auntie knock into Meow Meow from behind. The weirdest thing is that, Meow Meow's reaction was to turn around and look at her. Due to the door opening not big enough, and she tried to squeeze through the gap between Meow Meow's butt and the door, get Meow Meow's hand misplaced and became a target for the hot water dispenser. Geez...

And now, Meow Meow's thumb is like a piece of extra meat which can not be made use of now. Meow Meow so miss the thumb. Thumb, oh thumb, pleasey please quickly get well. ^^

Crab Culture

Something to think about guys, the irrational culture which crabs practice all-round. Have you ever wondered before why people who catches crabs, containing them in a dorm-shaped net without a cover on top of it, and yet, not a single crab will be able to escape (generally)?

Some explanation Meow Meow came across is this:

When a crab wishes to escape, climbing on top of some other crab, some other crabs will just tag along and climb on top of this one. And eventually, being selfish, the crabs are unable to cooperate and make all fall on ground effortless. Maybe that is also why Chinese have this saying about crabs is that crabs are heng xing ba dao.

What do we have to learn from this is that, if we don't help one another from the same situation, all of the involved will just be waiting to be "eaten". Think about it... (any situation, any one, any thing, generally)

Browsed Nick's blog and spotted this interesting stuff, pretty accurate Meow Meow guess. It is these kind of stuffs that really turns Meow Meow so attracted to Psychology study. It is so awesome (non-profitable way) to be able to understand signs and symptoms to human reactions, at least that's what Meow Meow think. Tired Working and Raving

You won't believe it, dear readers, Meow Meow clubbed. The better part is clubbing after work, and the best part is clubbing after work in working clothes. Well, the working wasn't very bad, maybe slightly icky and boring. Those that would make people doze off if there is no one looking sort. Nonetheless, important factor to me job that keeps me employed it is.

After that, just when the whole offices started to lookout and discussing if the boss is going to release us earlier, let's say half a day maybe? Or if not 2-3hours before 6pm would be good.. Then some new mail popped-out, It's from the boss!!! Excitingly, click click click away and gaze~~... Out of so much excitement and enthusiasm, composing a whole chunk of essay composition of both personal belief and festive understanding, nothing of "interest" has been spoken of.

Thus, work work work... work work work... work work work... Meow Meow sianz half, same goes for my sweet manager and my other colleagues supposedly (Meow Meow feel...). Wet and cool weather tempting and fiddling with Meow Meow's mind, making Meow Meow so hard to keep Meow Meow's eyes open. 6pm didn't struck too late, and soon, knock off and headed down to Vivo city in no time.

Met for dinner at kopitiam when Benny and Shahul Korkor ate already. With the presence of Anson Didi, Clarence, Meow Meow and Woow Woow and after that seated down at Coffee Bean to spend sometime taking picture, chatting, bitching, etc etc. Bla Bla Bla, and we all plus Chris and Irwan bang (Malay meaning elder brother) entered and enjoy ourselves. the night was great not to say, but too bad, very tiring lor! At least for Meow Meow, Irwan bang, and Chris and Clarence are totally shagged.

H. S. (Hectic Saturday)

Meow Meow never had such a tiring Saturday for a very very long time. Meow Meow started the day waking up with three morning calls from one very close cousin, Y.B., at around 7am, 7.30am and 8am. And Meow Meow was like, eh, sleeping of course! It was first of all a Saturday to speak, and second of all, it was so god damn early (a usual working day timing) and last of all, Meow Meow had one of the most tiring and demotivated weekday that same week.

Waking up 8am of course (as I am late) and wash up, walk down the usual peaceful and quiet road along to blocks of apartment and down into the Jurong Point. Walking past the stretch of shops reaching Boon Lay Control Station in a jiffy 10-15mins. Late as usual with such a timing, The cousin group, consist of Meow Meow, Y.B. and W.H.. And hence the group traveled down to the kind of isolated area of NTU (Nanyang Technological University) for a very "motivational" (the exact same word Y.B. used to describe the morning event) and informational seminar by some experienced professionals in Investing and Finance.

Meow Meow really appreciated the seminar, but the appreciation could be better if the seminar wasn't so early. After really hours and hours of long cozy and bored session of information sharing, the whole seminar group of people who was suppose to join the Cash Trail was finally released for refreshments. Food was just food for Meow Meow that so damn very moment. And had them to satisfied the long hours of waiting and hunger. Felt soo much better after the little snacks and munches.

A little introduction of the Cash Trail event. Cash Trail is a resemblance of Amazing Race and Stock Exchange combined together into a "game". Basic instructions was: 1. Required to get to six stations with one is inside the NTU itself; 2. Make stock transactions just with the situation the of three fictional companies present state of management; 3. As of stock transactions, there is three activities to choose, to Buy, Sell, or Hold the stock; 4. In each stations, there will have a bonus question to be asked. Answer it correctly to earn an additional of $500; 5. The remaining 5 stations are scattered all around CBD (Central Business District) with only clues on cards are provided and we are suppose to guess where it is; 6. The last and final most obvious requirement is to reach OCBC Building by 4.30pm.

An amount of $100,000 (value) was given at the start of the event and there we the cousin gang left the area of gathering to the first station. In whole and all, we are both physically fatigue and loss in the areas. Mentally strained and practically hopelessly lost to the management's ability to hold out such an event. Accepting the fate that it is practically unfair and impossible to win with such a state of unforeseeable under-ruled game.

Out in all, the $1,000 did not belong to the cousin gang ultimately. Meow Meow knew for sure that Y.B. really wished to have that, pretty eager and willing to go through anything for it. Efforts wasted and all the group could do was console ourselves taking it as a cousin bonding session and that we enjoyed the whole trail and that we got ourselves nice lunch, informational sharing talk, and goody bag in the end nonetheless. Meow Meow got more then that, earned a blister on the left foot sole and thorn skin around the back of the ankle. That added onto the two more other portions of my foot abrasion from my reservist, my foot is kind of well "decorated" now.

Meet Woow Woow, Derek mistress and Hong Jun for dinner at Marina Square and had Japanese food. Not a bad place to dine in, and thus, quite enjoyed the moment. A few more bits of walking on top of all the walking the past few hours Meow Meow had went through. Meow Meow and Woow Woow decided to catch a midnight movie after that, and we caught "The Orphanage". Foreign cultured and horror movie, with few good scare and nice, wonderful story line. Finally watched a horror show with Woow Woow after a long long time, and this time, really really been a rare occasion when the audiences really SCREAMED.

Proceed home with Night Rider to Woow Woow place from the Cathay (walking again). And got home, Meow Meow thought the day couldn't get any worse, as the hour of rest is near, but no... Woow Woow's Jody, the fat ass dog, wanted to sleep in the room which Meow Meow sleeps. Meow Meow thought it was really ridiculous to have a pet in the sleeping room of masters, but no, it was as though the dog has pushed its luck and got what it wanted. Really really bad mood (no... is not just bad, but rotten mood) and felt so at daggers drawn with the stupid dogs Woow Woow had in his residence. Slept on a thin piece of cloth with sponge which is old and stained with dog's urine, which Woow Woow called it a mattress to aggravate Meow Meow's back and neck ache. Meow Meow could experience nothing worse than this ever... ~End

WTH (What The Hell)

No one is going to believe it, Meow Meow is actually blogging! Actually, what is more unlikely is that Meow Meow is actually not in camp now. People may think, how come? What has happened to Meow Meow's In-Camp Training (ICT)? What has happened to Meow Meow's reservist?..

The whole story begins like this, that the very Monday Meow Meow was supposed to report for reservist, Meow Meow woke up very early in the morning (not to forget, Meow Meow slept at 2am) around 6.15am. After washing up and all the dressing up, Meow Meow make way to Clementi by MRT. And reaching the area kind of early enough, Meow Meow decide to have a decent morning breakfast at Clementi one of the nearby food center.

Meow Meow had a bowl of not-bad Mince Meat Noodles and after that head to bus interchange to take bus. In the meantime of waiting for bus, headache grew from beginning scratch of not-enough-sleep headache to head-pounding headache, so took a change in plan. To consult a doctor Meow Meow goes, Meow Meow visited the private clinic which is frequently visited and went through the whole process and got one day MC.

Meow Meow was feeling like "blessing-in-disguise", and proceed back to camp and endorse the MC. Making the way to find the overall coordinator landed Meow Meow sitting in the camp's canteen waiting for some assistant of the coordinator to get to him through phone (sucks man, it took quite a long while just to come to a conclusion: suspend me from training). Meow Meow's head was little bit tipsy and spinning, as though Meow Meow has just been hit by a rock. The rest are all history...

Got home, rested... But that's Monday. Today, is the most terrible day of all. It actually start pouring cats and dogs when Meow Meow and Woow Woow was about to leave the work building crossing road. That's not the worse part of the thing, Derek mistress came calling saying that he has reached the meeting area and the movie Meow Meow and him is going to watch is not starting at 7.30pm but at 7pm. It directly means "we don't have time to eat dinner"...

But anyway the movie that Meow Meow and Derek went to catch was 10,000 B.C. and it was not a bad show. Basically quite nice and did a lot of scenery, fighting and ancient scenes shooting. Story concept is not too bad, and the actors are good. Meow Meow would grade the movie, 10,000 B.C., 3.5 out of 5. After that, a good dinner near Food Republic. Ends the day with a good bath, nice chat with Woow Woow and blogging. Writing off, Meow Meow.

NSmen sucks ass

It really makes Meow Meow getting so sick this time, to have to go reservist in March mid. To makes things worse, Meow Meow's study enrollment has yet to even come to a confirmation of status. Been waiting for the English test result to satisfy the last and foremost important criteria of entrance to Meow Meow's degree course. Well, the least Meow Meow can hope is that the English test is a pass and what needs to be done is just to pay and pick modules and just go for it.

Nothing could be worse then that, Meow Meow thought. But seemingly, Meow Meow's attempt to make Meow Meow's physical more fitter is not going very well. Been jogging and running roughly 3km for three weeks now, and Meow Meow don't feel ready for the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (or short IPPT). Come to think of the past (2-3years ago), Meow Meow isn't that bad when it comes to physical exercises. Seems like Meow Meow has taken the first and primary step to get used to unhealthy lifestyle.

Work seems to be quite cumulative nowadays, but is considered quite manageable back there. Nothing much to think of other than my weekdays will be without Woow Woow and the yuckiest foods and drinks will be in my camp waiting for Meow Meow to stuff it down Meow the throat. Pretty much helpless, but yet can't really say "I don't want to go reservist", can Meow Meow?

Busy and messy days nowadays, Meow Meow decides to spend the weekend peacefully and sweetly with Woow Woow, eating nice and delicious meals, drinking all the "sinful" drinks, and enjoy lots of quiet and quality time with Woow Woow. For Meow Meow knows for sure that Meow Meow is going to miss Woow Woow like hell when Meow Meow is in camp "wasting time off".

20 Reasons: Why reading is good (or bad?)

1. Reading books are very informative most of the time (means time consuming)
2. Books have rich classifications (which still words, words, and more words)
3. People enjoy reading enjoys books' accompany (and people who doesn't just doesn't)
4. Reading improves affluence with language (which deprives communication with people)
5. Reading brings about understanding (indirectly may abet copyright breaching and idea cloning)
6. Relaxes mind (and stresses eye)
7. Reading equips reader with an idea of the topic (not to say that they have experience it)

12. Reading the same thing another time can discover new feelings to it (yeah, outdated at times as well)
13. Read is a common ability to be encouraged to practice whether you like it or not (what comes after that is writing what you have read)
14. Reading decrease illiteracy (at the stake of increasing complexity)
15. Reading is unavoidable (so is error)
16. Reading on interests equip better understanding (but never do they emphasize on the 'cons')
17. Reading is inexpensive or even free (it is also the source of multi-sharing bacteria medium)
18. Ensure reading is convenient, it is available everywhere (so is rubbish and nonsense, in fact is everyday)
19. Reading explains (yeah, sometimes even repeat itself when it is running out of idea, worse still, run out of topic)
20. People choose to read, can? Stop questioning the power of reading! (.. just admit you are running out of things to do so read...) ^^

... at least that's what you are doing now... =P

Life Chapter: Hospitalisation Terror

Hospitalisation is never a good thing to Meow Meow, especially when it comes to the person that Meow Meow loves. Unfortunately, Woow Woow still got admitted. Woow Woow went through tought times with Medical encounter this time. Fortunately enough, Woow Woow's scans are clear of serious illness such as brain tumor.

Few days ago was still in uncertainty stage, busy informing family members, preparing for the worse or whatever things which scares ourselves. And Meow Meow felt not anywhere, not here, not there. Felt so out of place and not belonging anywhere that I was at. Work was like so extra and meaningless, and life was so energy-taking and helpless.

Meow Meow felt so happy that Woow Woow can discharge so soon. Meow Meow took half day leave and went down to hospital immediately after work, and surprisingly was with two company Directors, Aaron and KC. Well, as expected, someone would comment "who sent you this basket arrangements?"... Hahaha.. Who else? Me lah =P Then after arrival, Meow Meow and the two Directors went down to the food centre for lunch. How awkward!

And one thing very stupid about discharging from NUH is not the paperwork, not the await for Doctor in-charge's approval, but OMG is the Pharmacist's medicine. Meow Meow and Woow Woow waited so impatiently to discharge from hospital to Woodlands Civic Centre to drop Quick Cheque Deposits before 3.30pm. But no, because of the Pharmacist's medicine for Woow Woow was lost (can you imagine, losing a patient's medicine!), we can't make it in time to drop cheque before 3.30pm, and can only have the cheque transfer done by Monday.

Meow Meow bought Woow Woow to have a good lunch at Jack's Place in Causeway Point. And after that have a peaceful time sleeping at Woow Woow's house. Meow Meow finally can have a wonderful time sleeping from now onwards. Really not been enjoying Meow Meow's beauty sleep for days now. And this shall mark the end to hospitalisation chapter.
