What The F**k

Do you know what guys, my school is really a pain in the ass (sorry for the prune language). The revision course that the school had organize is not free and the fee is not really small of minimal. Well, let me tell you the whole story.

A few days ago, Anil (my lecturer) told the whole class that the school had organize a revision section with lecturer from UOL coming to lecture. A told of 12 hours per subject spreading throughout the month of April. Never did he mention that there will be fee incurred.

Then to my surprise today, i found out the fee that i need to pay in order to attend the revision course which come in the form of letter from the school! And the fee is really high for a mere revision course, a total of $2,000 which mean that one subject come up to about $500. This is really day light robbing! So i have decided not to go for this stupid course and study on my own!
One thing to know, my school suck big time!

Science Centre

Just to let you guys know that this entry is a late entry! The detail is meant for last Sunday 30th April.

That day Meow Meow, Chris, Derek, Hong Jun and i decided to drop by Science Center as we ran out of place to hangout also taking into consideration that Meow Meow and myself is low in funds. We met about 2.30pm which Meow Meow and myself is late (as usual). We proceed to have our lunch as none of us with exception of Hong Jun had lunch. After some food and a small take, we make our way to the Science Center.

When we reach there, i propose to the guy on whether are they keen to watch the documentary on the Egypt in the Omni-theater, which turn out not bad. When we were inside the Center, we were very amaze on the number of exhibit that they have and most of it is quite interesting. This really show that i have not been to the Science Center for ages. But the most disappointing part of the whole trip is that we only have slightly more than an hour for viewing the exhibit. The Center closes at 6 pm and our show is at 5pm. But we had decided to go back to the Center again some other day.

We end our day with dinner at IMM having Jap food. Food is quite standard and a nice dessert to end the day. In general, the day was quite fun and really enjoy our self! Really looking forward to it again. By the way, i had taken some photo which i will try to upload it soon.

Time Flying By

Believe or not, it's going to be the end of March and a step towards an exam that I'm not remotely prepare for. How discouraging that can be right but then again it's not that i don't know anything for the whole course (I still got go for class and listen in class). This really is the most last minute study that I'm going to be doing. Hopefully i can be ready by then!

Anyway, let not talk about exam for now. You guys should know by now that i have resign from my current job and my last day would be end of April. Still have yet find a job but meow meow is helping me in preparing my resume (I'm not really a good resume writer). Still looking for job relating to my field of study, and hopefully i can have a good pay too.

Those day been quite hectic as i am in the mist of clearing my work. You might be wondering why am i working this hard when i am leaving in about a month or so. The answer is quite simple to me, you may think it's just stupid but people who know me knows that i don't like to leave thing hanging and also to ask other people to clear my shit (sorry of the choice of language). This is what i believe and i have adopt this to my character and have evolve to my principle.

The Orphanage

Last Week Meow Meow and me went to watch the movie called "The Orphanage". Firstly, this is a foreign film, and secondly, it a horror movie. Let take a look on what is this show is all about.

Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo Del Toro produces director Juan Antonio Bayona's gothic frightener about a long-abandoned orphanage with a particularly troubling past. As a child, young orphan Laura spent her formative years being cared for by the staff of a large orphanage located by the Spanish seaside. Those were some of the happiest years of Laura's life, and now, thirty-years later, the former charge returns to the dilapidated institution with her husband Carlos and their seven-year old son Simon to re-open the orphanage as a facility for disabled children. But something ominous haunts the darkened hallways of this silent, stately manor. When Simon's behavior begins to grow increasingly bizarre and malicious, Laura and Carlos start to suspect that the mysterious surroundings have awoken something ominous in the young boy's imagination. It's not long before Laura, too, is drawn into this disturbing web and the repressed memories of the past come flooding back in a terrifying torrent of tension and deeply disturbing revelations. With opening day drawing near and their situation growing increasingly grim by the hour, Simon attempts to write off their son's bizarre behavior as a desperate bid to get more attention from his distracted parents. Laura isn't so easily convinced of this theory though, and soon embarks on a desperate quest to unearth the terrible secret that lurks in the old house waiting for just the right moment to inflict devastating damage on both her and her family.

At the first sight of the poster, i know it will be a horror who which i think it's quite obvious in it. So i thought it will be the last show that i wanted to watch as you guys should know by now that i'm not a real big fan of horror film (horror always remind me of the movie "Saw" which till this day i still hate it even through it is well-made. Let skip that part should we!) but we didn't have much choice and i sought of want to watch movie on that day. So we decided to watch "The Orphanage"

At First, i'm very skeptics on this film as i have not really know what is the movie all about other then a trailer which doesn't tell much on this film. But as the film goes on, i finally show what horror film should be and then trust me when i say it's scary (people did literally scream) . The show is not the kind of show that show blood and gore, this film is more toward the suspense and the ingenious use of human fear on the spirit world. There is one scene that really very scary is when the actress was playing a game with the children spirit when in one second you don't see then then the next thing you know some kid just pop out and slowly going toward the actress. I think in my opinion, the director is really good in using the the correct technique in making the mind wonder or better word to describe it are the emotion manipulation of one person.

So in conclusion, this is one movie that really worth watching. But be warn that this show is not meant for the faint hearted.

Step Up 2 : The Street

Last Saturday i went to watch Step up 2 : The Street which really turn out to me quite a nice movie unlike what the movie review had describe it. Firstly let have an overview on what this show is about.

Andie (Briana Evigan) is a member of the 410 crew, she goes around showcasing her talents illegally. Her brother Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) understands her love for street dancing so he gets her an audition for MSA - Maryland School of Arts. And you've guessed it she gets in but only by the kindness of 1 guy Chase (Robert Hoffman) also a student at MSA. However, not only is he the most popular guy in school but his brother is it's new director.

In Andie's first class she is told to improvise, only used to upbeat music, she panics and makes a fool of herself, then when told to do it again she messes up again. Only this time catching the eye of Chase. After the lesson she heads down to rehearse with the 410 crew, and she's late not impressing her fellow crew members. After being late yet again Andie is kicked out of the 410 crew and now cannot battle in 'The Streets'.

On realising that she needs a crew Chase comes to her rescue, saying that under the radar in MSA there are a lot of people who would be skilled enough to join a crew. They find 10 people to join them in their crew, the MSA crew. They start practising and realise that they aren't good enough to battle at 'the Streets' yet. So Andie enforces the help of an old 410 crew member. She helps them realise they have what it takes and make a prank, something that will help them get noticed. They stage their prank in the home of the lead member of the 410 crew. It doesn't go down to well. But Chase and Andie are drawn together by their unavoidable attraction, almost kissing and shocking the MSA crew.

After this prank things go bad, they realise who did the prank and beat up Chase, then they head down to MSA and trash the school. The director finds out and orders the students to come forward if they know anything. However, he knows that Andie is somehow responsible and calls her to his office, where upon a discussion he expels her and she is left shattered...

A few days later while the school is hosting a fundraiser they all receive the text message telling them where 'The Streets' is being held. Andie chooses the ignore this but the other feel it necessary to take part and go call on Andie, upon convincing her they head down the 8th and Main. Upon arriving they feel unwelcome and are told they don't fit in by the 410 crew. Andie doesn't appreciate this as she knows the true meaning of the streets and that everyone else has forgotten. So she leads them all outside for 1 last showdown..........

In general, this movie a not a must watch but nonetheless a entertaining movie. This have a cool mix of music and slick dance move and also a well acting from the artist. The message behind the movie to encourage people to be who there are and not who there are not. In the current society, we are always been ask to be what your parent or even our peer want us to be but this is really not who really are. Why can't we just be who we are and do the thing that we love to do! This is what our society i really are! Don't you agree?

Spiderwick!!

Well, this would be a short entry as i'm not really on form today. Feeling sick! Anyway, last saturday Meow Meow, Chris, Shahul, Shahul friend and me went to The Cathay to watch The spiderwick, In General, this is a good movie with good plot and lots of special effect.

The down point is that it should have shown more of the fairy world creature, the whole movie is only focus on a few creature only as the guide look quite thick, don't you agree?

Anyway, this is one movie that the young and old would like to watch. I would grade this movie a 7/10. Good movie!

The Eye!

I went to watch movie "The Eye" with chris on Tuesday night after a very disappointing house viewing at Jurong West. The movie starring Jessica Alba as Sydney who is a blind musician who got a corneal transplant, but after the transplant, strange thing start to happen.

This is a remake of the Hong Kong of "The eye" with nothing much have change. Even thought the plot is the same, the acting is way different and of course the directing is also different. For the Hollywood version, it way more scarier then the Asian counterpart. The way the director make use of the atmosphere to make the movie scary in addition to the artist who make the movie scary.

Well, it is not without flaw of course! The plot is basically the same as the Asian version, so people can already predict what would happen next. This way it is the critical point or should you say a cons, as once the suspense is gone then the movie had already not achieve what a horror film should be. But nonetheless, the meaning that i interpreted is that some gift can be both a blessing and a curse, and that sometime you need to really trust someone even if i make no sense at all. It also let you know what it like to look at thing from the eye of another. This not something people can do! Don't you agree on this! Anyway, i would grade this show a 6 star, which in my opinion is a show worth watching.

A Day Out

Saturday was really a blast! Meow Meow and i did not really do anything, we first went to the career fair to get some information on education course that some university are currently offering. We did not really stay for very long as there really much over there, as mostly was for education and the hotel, sales and marketing industry. Not something that i am looking for!

We then decided to go to orchard by means of walking as the weather is ideal for walking. Anyway, we wanted to have a KTV section but as it turn out the place was fully pack so we decided to go to taka kino book store to look at some books. We did not really spend much time over the place, we later proceed to go to border to look at more books (we did not really have much choice as we firstly had not have our paycheck and secondly we don't really have any idea on what to do).

After looking at some magazine, we took a bus to vivo city even through we are way early then before the intended meeting time. When we arrive at vivo city, we went to white dog cafe (my favourite place) to have some snack and coffee and we spend some time talking till time is up. I personally love to just sit down and have a chat over a cup of coffee. This is really life! I think i really sick and tired of the everyday life in term of the rushing between here and there. I think i just like to just find a place to chat over a cup of coffee with friend. Don't you think that great!

Anyway, after meeting the gang, we had our dinner at vivo thaixpress which had great food but not so good service. I personally had already decided that the service at thaixpress is not much of service and the idea of paying for service charge for service that don't really justify is really costly. Don't you agree? But then again, can we choice not to pay for it. After a hearty meal, we took the train to chinatown but the most funny thing is that we actually miss our station. How can you blame any of us when you put a bunch of lovely but bitchy people together (Which include me.. hehe). There bound to be lots of talking and bitching.

Back to blogging, it turn out that we still need to pay for clubbing as we miss the first 100 people. Well, this really a lesson to learn, and that is need time we really need to be very very early just to make sure that we don't pay. This is something i need to note, as you guys have known by now that i am a avid clubber. Nonetheless, i did enjoy myself even through i did not drink a bit.

Blackout!!!!!

Let me tell you something that happen to me the past two days. After i went to see doctor on tuesday afternoon, i thought it just my usual headache. But little do i know that is the beginning of a very bad week. I thought after that day, everything will be alright but it not that so. I actually lose nearly 12 hours of memory beginning from 3am on 20th to near 4 pm on 20th. I was told that i went to see doctor and also message my friend and did thing but i remember none of it. This really make me worry that this might be a sign of something. Whether is it a good sign or not but i'm mentally prepare for what ever to come. Just hope it was nothing.

Anyway, other then backout, i also intend to go to work tomorrow to finish what ever work i have not done since i'm on mc for two and half day. And trust me, it had alot of work that need to do. And i would also like to thank my colleague of covering my work. Thanks alot! So i should end her for now.

PS. Just now i went to watch the movie "PS I Love You". This movie is quite well made, a story that do make you wonder. But this will be in Meow Meow next entry. ( I scare that he got nothing to write, so give him a chance.) hehe.

A New Beginning

After a week of event, finally i can get the chance to rest that i long for. By now everyone must have known what happen, so i would not have to say more. But the main issue is that Meow Meow and i had a heart to heart talk and we manage to come to an understanding that by right should have come to months ago. This is really long overdue in a matter speaking. To sum up what we have discuss, we shall listen more to each other and this mean to listen AND hear. Be willing to compromise and to consider each other feeling. And most importantly, is to communicate. Without communication, a relationship would not and i mean will not last. I speak from experience!

A pain that will not go away

I don't really know whether should i still be blogging or not, but i decided to carry blogging over here (i will also blog on my xanga account). This is because this blog is created by the love of my life and no matter what happen be it whether we together or not, i will still carry on blogging over here as long he permit me to.

Even now, i still feel a pain whenever i see him or think about him. When i see him sad, i really killing me inside. A feeling that i have never encounter before, not even with my first! I just hope that what people says is true, that is time will heal all wound. I will always be concern with him, always look after him and will always protect him even in the shadow.

I just want him to be happy! And would love to see his bright smile that i have not seen in days. Stay Happy always Meow Meow! Whoever bully you tell me, i will beat the crap out of him. This i Promise you! The only promise that i can keep. Again, I'm Sorry! Woow Woow know that i have made your very sad and i don't know whether you can forgive me but i just hope to see you smile again. No matter what we become. OK?

Finally here!!

It's finally here! A day i have been waiting for for quite sometime. Chinese New Year! I finally can rest for 4 days without having to worry about work and take the well deserve rest that is seriously overdue. Anyway, i'm not going to many places this Chinese New Year, at most i will be going to my Grandparent house and that it. Now feeling very hungry, maybe because i start gymming, i tend to be hungry very easily. Who know, i might just put on the weight that i dream of.

Tired le

Feeling very tired and sleepy! Club for two days straight is really taking the tow on my body. Don't really want to do anything, just like to lay on my bed and sleep. And trust me, today is really the day to sleep as the weather is really very nice (to sleep context).

Chinese New Year!!!

Chinese New Year is coming!! Time really flies! Just finish celebrating Christmas and now Chinese New Year. I can't help but wonder what this year hold for me. I still deciding on whether should i resign or not, then also on my coming exam in May. Like what a friend who know fortune telling told me that in February i would have to decide on important issue that is important to me. Wonder what is that?

After Cold War

It's had been like two days since the fight! Finally i manage to have a trues with meow meow. There is really not big that we need to fight about but we end up fighting anyway. The fight is something like this; we were going for our lunch and i mention some about work, on the issue of working overtime. It's like our discussion suddenly turn hostile. And to make thing worse, i'm having headache for the past few day, so i kindly rise my voice to meow meow. And that when the war started.

I know it's kind of stupid and foolish to fight over this kind of matter. But i did happen. What's more important is that in the and all thing went well. Hopefully!

First day of Self-study

Today is the first day of my "intensive self-study" and it had already proved to be very challenging. I really had to force myself to study and not to succumb to the temptation of my computer, television and bed. This really take will power! Anyway, did not cover much my better then not moving at all right! By the way, i now blogging using my desktop! This is the first time i done this and this is so unfamiliar. My sister brought my laptop but can't manage to return to me in time. Anyway, not that i cannot use my desktop right! And also, i will try to add some photo.

Time to end!

Really at the cross road now! one side is to give up and look for a better place or to endure and persist to the very end. Who can enlightn me? For unknown reason, i can't seem to have the energy like what i used to have. Nowaday, it's always seem like i always tired and moody. Why is that so, is it because i have too little sleep or is it something more then that. No matter what the reason is, the fact that this is the time to think about it still remain.

Gym!

Let me reflex on my past 1 week gym ming. Not really that much changes in my overall build but the relive part is that i can see a bit of what you call muscle. This show that a bit more hard work and lots of determination i will be able to get the result i want. I do not wish to be like the muscle bound guy you see on the street but i do want to be a guy with a lean toned body which i always wanted. I am not being superficial, i also don't wish to be skinny for my whole life. What is more important is that i wouldn't fall sick that easily like before.. And the other reason on why i go and exercise is that i can vent all my anger that i had bottle inside me and work out a sweat so after the session, i will be feeling better to carry on my day. Don't you agree on that!

Anyway, i just went go with meow meow to watch a movie! We watch "One Missed Call" which is not a bad movie but i find it to much for me. Even thou the plot isn't that bad but i just felt that this show isn't for the faint hearted people. This is just my two cent worth! Will, after that, we went to PS to eat our dinner and also did some shopping, the food isn't that great but we are not really that picky on it either. Well, it Saturday isn't it! So we did expect to see lots of people queuing for food. Well, tomorrow will be a busy day as well, going to sentosa with meow meow and a few more friend. Anson birthday! So hope tomorrow will have a sunny day. finger cross!

Is it Time to move on!

I have been think about this matter for the past few day. Well, it is some how related to my work, as you might have guess, well I'm not really interest to start with. Anyway, in view of the increase in work load, the idea of me look for other job have been more tempting as ever. The sense of tiredness is really difficult to bear, and the more i try to endear the more i feel exhaust. Is this what i mean to be! To work till i cannot work or is there a better place. Whether i resign or not, iu will have to the end of this month to sort it out. In a lighter tone, i have finally decided to start my fitness schedule. I plan to go gym on every Tuesday and Thursday and swimming on Saturday. This is a chance to built the body i want and also try to stay healthy. For both me and meow meow sake. I also do not wish to make him worry about me. He got too much think to worry about. By the way, i have recent brought a few CD and i quite like it! Will try to upload here to let us guy enjoy it as i have.
